A deposit will be taken at the time of order. This is non-refundable and will be deducted from the agreed purchase price of the headpiece.
Purchased pieces cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene. There is no return policy.
The price agreed at the time of order is based on the specifications of the client at that time. If these specifications change and additional materials, embellishment and/or work are required, the price of the headpiece will increase in accordance with the added materials and time taken on the headpiece.
Although Jo-Anne Millinery has an extensive range of fabric and embellishments, if a client requires specific materials, they are asked to bring them to the first consultation.
If a client requires Jo-Anne Millinery to source specific materials and embellishments, a sourcing fee will be charged at AUD$20 per hour.
A total of three consultations are necessary to create the perfect headpiece and are included in the agreed price of the headpiece. At the time of order, it is preferred that the dates of these consultations be arranged.
If a client requests additional fittings lasting longer than 25 minutes, a consultation charge will be added to the price of the headpiece. Added consultation charge AUD$20 per hour.
Although it is preferable for consultations to take place at Jo-Anne Millinery, if this is not possible, Jo-Anne is able to visit clients in their homes or offices if arranged in advance. The hourly rate for external consultations is AUD$60 an hour with a minimum charge of AUD$30.
For overseas clients wishing to purchase a bespoke headpiece, or clients unable to make fitting appointments, Jo-Anne can send regular emails with photographs illustrating the progress of the headpiece, as requested.
Payment can be via Paypal online or direct deposit. At the studio we also take cash.
